Yesterday, Mandy (my 19 year old daughter) and I went to Savers(A thrift store) to look at all their cool jewelry. When we walked in, Mandy was gagging and acting so sicked out!! We immediatly went to the" FINE " jewelry counter to sift thru the jewelry. No one to help us!!! Finally, a nice older man came and started rambling on about who knows what. It was something about hippies and how he is one, and their is not many left, and Walmart and the" F-ing" teenagers. It was a little wierd but kinda interesting at the same time. It was funny we were looking at the jewelry all alone and all of the sudden there were swarms of people around us like there was a huge piece of fine jewelry. Mandy and I just laughed. The cool thing was I found some really cool stuff!!! Not cool to everyone , just me and my wierd self. I was having a great time I found some cool purses, but, again the money issue.(not enough) Mandy kept saying "Mom lets go, this place is gross" I find these stores so very interesting. I could have stayed all day. Wierd in a cool sort of way. The last stop was Planted (rip off) Earth. cool store but a rip off!!! I found a necklace, it is way cool. The only problem is it is itchy. Dang it! It will have to be worn with a turtle neck. I bought Sam a toothbrush at Savers. Don't tell him, he'll never know. His mouth is disgusting anyway. Well, see you next time.

Thrift stores Antique stores and bargins
I am in love. I found the coolest place this last weekend. The Star Mill. It is a antique store, it was awesome everything was on sale this weekend 50% off. I got some great things for my new business. I could have spent all day rumaging thru all the old crap. It is kind of a creepy place but in a cool way. I wish I could have spent more money and time unfortunatly I didn't have much of either. Mandy is my partner in crime when it comes to shopping at these wierd places, it makes it much more fun to have someone to shop with and many people don't like to visit these type of stores. Oh my!!!!!! I forgot to tell you the STAR MILL caught on fire last night, no joking, I was freaking out. I almost cried. We are lucky the mill is okay, it was some storage buildings on the side. I feel so bad about it.

A Bit About Me
Hello to everyone who come across this blog. I am a housewife from Utah attempting to make my dreams come true. I am the mother of three and while raising my beautiful daughters I have made sacrifices. Now I am setting up a little online store. In months to come look for great deals and treasures I have created. Soon I will have my own little store where you will be able to buy custom vintage jewelry, clothing and many more things close to my heart.
I picked the name "Sincerely Margie Mei". Margie was my grandmother. She one of my favorite people in the world and I miss her everyday since she passed away. She is my inspiration. She was a simple woman who could make something special out of anything. She never had a lot of money and she was so great at making me feel special and she made such special treasures with her talents. She embroidered and did all kinds of craft projects. She made everyday normal household items into special keepsakes that I still love to this day. I will also share some of her incredible recipes and tricks to survival in this crazy world. I truly hope you enjoy and some items can touch your heart in the same way she touched mine.
The Mei part of my store name is for my beatuful neice Ava Mei. My husband and daughters and I just love Ava and we look forward to her visits everyday. My sister adopted her out of China when she was 11 months old. She is now 3 and so cute and funny that we just can't get enough of her. We all love Ava and her older sister Lexie more than anything in the world. Those two girls are just like me and my husbands own children and my daughters think of them as siblings. They are regular fixtures at "Polly's house" which is what they call me. Polly is short for my real name Paulette.
I am currently working hard to get everything prepared to get started. I am not concerned with making a lot of money in this new adventure, just spreading some of the love I have been blessed with.
Stay tuned, more to come in the near future.
Sincerely Margie Mei
