Preschool is over

This is the last year I will be teaching. We had our last day on Wednesday. We had a graduation and a party. I will miss teaching these little kids and I will miss there hugs. I will miss them telling me they love me. I have been teaching preschool for ten years. I guess it is time to move on to something else. Hmmmm, I wonder what I will do now? any ideas? I am kind of weird I like to be home when my girls get home so they can tell me about there day.

Hiking with the girls

I have been really into hiking lately. Mandy and I have been hiking to Timp Cave in AF Canyon a couple of times a week. Sunday the girls and I wanted to hike to Silver Lake but there was to much snow . We decided to hike the Tibble Fork trail instead, it was so nice to be outside in the fresh air. I love the canyon and I am going to hike a lot this summer. I get sick of going to the gym all the time and this is much prettier.

Tending Van

Courtney was tending Sam's sister Anndee's little boy Van. We love it when she tends him because that means we get to see him. In these pictures he was flirting with Samantha, it was so funny. What a cute boy!

Prom

Samantha and Chance went to prom. Samantha had a blast, they had a large group (30 people). Friday night they went to Comedy Sports and Sat. was prom. They had dinner at Magelby's in Provo and the dance was a UVSC ballroom. Mandy did Samantha's hair and makeup, she looked beautiful. I think it was a miracle what Mandy did with her hair , it is so short we didn't think she would be able to get it all up and looking good. It turned out so great, Samantha was so pleased. Mandy is turning into a great little hair stylist! Go see her at Paul Mitchell hair school in Provo and get a hair cut or something (it's cheep)

Courtney's Birthday Dinner & Formal Night

We ate in the dinning room every night. Court got pampered on her Birthday. Mandy fixed her hair all fancy( notice the picture of them being so nice to each other, I think we made some progress) and Samantha helped her pick out a cute outfit for the night. She had a fancy steak dinner. The waiters brought her out a special dessert and sang to her. It was a great day!!

Ensenada & Courtney's birthday

This was a fun place to see and it was good for my girls to see how other people live. We took a tour to La Buffadora ( a blowhole) it took us 45min to get there. We got to see a lot of Ensenada on the way. It was dirty with a lot of graffiti and it seemed like a lot of poverty. At the blow hole there was an open flea market. Let's just say we got attacked with people wanting us to buy all there stuff . My girls were a bit afraid. We made them eat some authentic mexican tacos and churrios. I think they liked it and we ate lunch for under $10. It was Courtney's 13th birthday, I don't think she will ever forget that one. Some of the men were trying to push her in there shops. We had a fun day but, we were glad to get back on the boat where we wouldn't have to be hounded for stuff.

Catalina Island

This was our least favorite place we visited on the cruise. The main reason was the boat tendered people over to the island and one of the shuttle boats was broken, it took forever to get over there. I am sure it is a great place, we felt sad we didn't have more time to explore.

The Cruise

San Diego was the first stop, we went to the Gaslamp District! We hopped on the free shuttle and sat on the top . The girls had a fun time looking in all the cool shops. The highlight for Sam was seeing Petco field.

More Spring Break..... THE BEACH

I am in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, with the beach! I took a thousand pictures. I want to move to the beach and bask in the sun all day and have bon fires at night. We also went to the Rainbow outlet and got some flip flops. If you haven't tried Rainbow's you have to get some.... They are sooooo GREAT!

Spring Break 08'...... BEACH DAY'S

The beach day's were by far our favorite of the whole trip! We rented a house in San clemente and shared it with my sister her husband and her kids. We brought food and cooked so we wouldn't waste money on eating out. My girls say they like my cooking better anyway( I find this hard to believe) It was walking distance to the beach.... Next time we all decided we want to forget the cruise and just do the beach. My girls are so easy going they would be happy to sit in the sun ALL day...Like mother like daughter!

Spring Break

Our Spring Break this year was really the girls Christmas! We have been planning this for awhile. We went to San Clemente Calif. for three days and then went on a cruise to San diego, Catilina Island, & Ensenata. It was fun but, stressful! Sam got laid off his job at Christmas time and hasn't found a permanent job yet! So needless to say , it was a little STRESS. The good part of it was being together! We read two books aloud on the drive to Calif. one of which was AnnDee's new book "Everything Is Fine" It was amazing! We all loved it. I think the best part was having our kids all to ourself with out any interruptions.

SAN CLEMENTE

The first picture you see is the girls in the car. I had to take a picture of this because Samantha had to sit in the middle the whole way! YES I SAID, "THE WHOLE WAY" poor little girl. You see she is our little peacemaker of the family. We had to use her to separate Mandy and Courtney, I know what you are thinking MANDY IS ALMOST TWENTY and she is fighting with a thirteen year old. YES OH YES ALL DAY AND NIGHT THEY FIGHT!! Yes, Samantha has the longest legs out of them all. She road the whole way in the MIDDLE to keep peace. It worked
