For family night we carved pumpkins, I waited until Monday afternoon to get pumpkins thinking there would still be a large variety of pumpkins left. We went to Wal mart and they were ALL gone. I couldn't believe it, I was just there that morning grocery shopping and there were a ton left. I wanted the girls to be able to pick out their own special one. We ended up at Smiths and there were only HUGE ones left. I loaded them up in my shopping cart and couldn't even push it. I made Pumpkin waffles and hot apple cider. It makes me laugh to think how much my kids still count on our family traditions every year. Even though they are getting older they still want me to do all the same things I have been doing since they were little. We have a family halloween party with my family every year and some how it didn't get planned, I thought my kids would be glad. They were so disappointed! I feel bad, my parents were also very disappointed.

Sunday Drive
We went on a drive Sunday afternoon with Mandy and Shad! We started off thinking we would go on the Alpine loop but, Mandy got car sick and started acting like she was going to throw up . We decided to go to Cascade springs and get out of the car and walk around. It was beautiful, if you haven't gone to see the leaves you definitely should. It was well worth it!

Fall
I love fall, the leaves are changing and the weather is getting cooler. We went up AF canyon a few weeks ago and the leaves were amazing! I forgot my camera, I am hoping to get up there again and get some pictures. The colors against the snow filled mountains are breathtaking. It is fall break and Samantha and Courtney went to St. George with the Peterson girls, so it is very quiet around here.

CNA Classes
This is what I have been up to lately! I am taking a class to become a CNA. I have been slightly overwhelmed with homework and sitting in classes ALL day. I have been driving to Salt Lake to take the classes, I know it will be good in the long run. I feel like I am trying to absorb a ton of information and it is not sinking in. I never knew nurses had to do remember so much. WOW! Pray that I will make it thru the next couple of weeks.

Homecoming
Samantha went to homecoming and had a great time. It is so funny how different the dating experience has been with her compared with Mandy. Mandy had to be PERFECT in every way. The dress, nails done, toes done, jewelry etc.. Samantha is so laid back, she wouldn't get her nails done or wear jewelry and the best part was that her dress was thirty bucks. It is a nice change, Very low drama!!! She was home at 12:00am. on the dot, that would have never happened with Mandy. I love Mandy but, I don't miss her high school drama.
